The Sky View Hall of Fame exists to preserve and celebrate the stories of the alumni, athletes, and coaches who have carried the standards of Sky View High School into the world. It is a living record of character, leadership, and achievement — a place where current students and families can see what a Bobcat can become.
More than a list of names, the Hall is a community memory. Each inductee represents not just personal accomplishment, but the values and culture that have defined Sky View across six decades.
Members are inducted into one of two distinct categories, recognizing different kinds of contribution to the Sky View legacy.
Graduates of Sky View who have achieved significant professional, civic, artistic, or personal accomplishments — leaving a lasting impact on their field, their community, or the world.
Athletes and coaches who have excelled in competition or contributed meaningfully to the legacy of Sky View athletics — regardless of whether they graduated from Sky View.
Sky View High School was founded in 1964, formed through the merger of North Cache and South Cache high schools in the heart of Cache Valley, Utah. The Bobcat became its mascot, and the following year — 1965 — Eugene B. Lundquist wrote the school song that students still sing today, arms around one another, at the close of assemblies and games.
That tradition of singing together, shoulder to shoulder, captures something essential about this place: a community that holds its history close and carries it forward. The Hall of Fame is an extension of that same spirit.
Nominations are open to the public year-round and reviewed annually by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The committee evaluates each nominee against the standards of their category, considering achievement, character, leadership, and lasting impact.
Anyone may submit a nomination. To keep the process fair and respectful of those involved, nominee lists and committee deliberations are kept private, while the criteria and process remain open. Inductees are honored publicly and added to the official Sky View Hall of Fame roster.
Gifts to the Hall of Fame help pay for inductee plaques, the annual induction event, and scholarships for Sky View students. Donations are made securely through SuccessFund.
